Who we are
BANG! is a living creative studio founded by Daniel Macías and Oscar Ramírez in 2008. Based in Monterrey, Mexico, BANG! specializes in fresh corporate and editorial design and has broad experience in developing intelligent visual concepts to ensure harmony, good rhythm and excellence in communication.
We are a professional team with expertise in the fields of design, corporate branding, copywriting and magazine design.
Our work has been featured in the book REAL ESTATE GRAPHICS by Choi’s Gallery, in Behance’s www.brandingserved.com and www.toydesignserved.com, and in international design blogs like The Inspiration Grid and Feature Me .

Daniel Macías
The producer
Dan is a communications professional = a film producer + photographer + reporter + musician wannabe + designer wannabe. Graduated from the Liceo de Monterrey International Baccalaureate, moved on to ITESM and got his degree on December 2008, and now is studying a Masters Degree at EGADE Business School.
He began his career as a reporter, sometimes carrying a camera, in GRUPO REFORMA´S EL NORTE. He was then hired by ITESM to build and directing CAMPUS.MTY, the students newspaper. That road took him to be a webpage co-editor at FORUM DE LAS CULTURAS 2007, in Monterrey.
He then extended his experience working in ONE SHOT, a prestigious media managing agency in the same city planning and coordinating press conferences and other PR strategies.
By the time he graduated, his first short film, a documentary called LEAVE YOUR MIRACLE HERE had already been in 11 International Festivals starting its route in Silverdocs AFI/Discovery Channel´s doc fest, crossing Mexico and travelling through the Czech Republic and Kosovo (yes, the now independent Kosovo).
He is a member of the Nuevo León Filmmakers Trade and cofounder of BANG!.
Oscar Ramírez
creative/art director
Os is the Creative Director. He is a communication professional with philosophical insights. He is also a music and art devotee.
Graduated from the International Baccalaureate, he went to Mexico City and studied philosophy for two years. Then he came back to Monterrey to begin his career in communications with a specialty in advertising.
Oscar has worked at BCM Publishing Group, where he collaborated in the makeover of two magazines: EMWA Magazine Haute Horlogerie and VIDA + ESPACIOS by GILSA (a home design and tendencies magazine).
As a freelance, he has created the corporate image of different companies, as well as the visual concept of publications such as High School (2007) and Un Testimonio Familiar (2008).
Os directed a social foundation for three years and is the cofounder of COMMUTI, his next social project.
He is also the cofounder of BANG! and is now studying a Masters Degree on Marketing and Graphic Design at Universidad de Monterrey.
